Customer Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and realizing the objectives of the projects assigned to him/her with respect to the client and the organisation with focus on quality, on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  •  Manages and coordinates and ensures follow up of projects.

  •  First point of contact for the customer and responsible for the project from A to Z.

  •  Supports Sales in the Pre-Sales phase.

  •  Cooperates closely with internal and external stakeholders.

  •  Is responsible for controlling the budget/costs for the assigned projects.

  •  Ensures professional stakeholder management. 

  •  Follows up '3rd party' equipment if part of the project.

  •  Ensures a smooth and professional transfer of the project to the Service Organisation.

  •  Cooperates closely with other Project Managers to provide mutual support where necessary.

  •  Is familiar with change management and risk mitigation. 

1. Management of technical-operational projects:

  • Supports and implements projects in the planning phase up to and including the feedback & evaluation phase.

  • Organises and facilitates meetings in order to ensure a smooth project follow-up. 

  • Is well-informed about the content of the assigned projects and ensures that they are planned and followed up properly.

  • Takes initiatives that improves the internal processes.

  • Organises ‘Pre-delivery Inspection’ or ‘Factory Acceptance Test’ visits.

  • Visits assigned projects in the field, up to 50% of his/her time.

2. Information flow external:

  • Cooperates closely with the customer, the agent andpossibly, the line integrator and ensures a proper information flow about the arrangements made.

  • Is available to give technical support/advice to agents and customers throughout the project.

3. Information flow internal:

  • Completes the construction files for the machines included in the scope of supply.

  • Cooperates closely with the following departments: Sales, Production, Service and R&D and ensures a proper information flow.

  • Instructs the production teamon the to be delivered parts in the scope of supply.

  • Follow up on back order shipments.

4. Design:

  • Designs solutions for line integration (if required) in cooperation with Customer Engineering and Sales.

  • Supports the technical clarifications in the initiation phase of a project.

Candidate Profile:

  • Good communication skills oral & written

  • Customer-minded

  • Flexible

  • Organisational skills

  • Precise

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 

  • Experience in leading projects

  • Team worker

  • A can do mentality 

  • Experience with CAD is an asset

  • 5-10 Years of project management experience 

Education: 

Master or bachelor’s in technology / Engineering / Project Management or equal

Other skills/abilities:

Native Turkish, Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
