Technical Service Sales

In the Service Department you are responsible for spare parts pricing, selling services and spare parts from the Service product range (Upgrades, spare parts, extended repairs and maintenance contracts).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You will issue quotes, handle all customer communication on these issues 
  • and in some cases issuing the invoice.
  • Follow up quotes and if required visit the customer on site to “defend” and “contend”
  • Close cooperation within service and other departments is crucial for improvement of service quality and to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Customer satisfaction by proper response time and prompt deliveries
  • Define the potential and target customers and where needed visit the customer
  • Develop and undertake proactive approach by phone and/or visits
  • Further optimization Service quality
  • Correct bookings in ERP system (work orders, maintenance contracts, cases etc)

Candidate profile:

  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex information and issues in a user friendly manner
  • Ability to relate to customers, their views and issues
  • Passionate about technical products
  • Field experience in a technical environment is a plus
  • Willing to travel (15% of time)
  • Hands on mentality
  • Stress resistant

Education:

  • Technical education or other, but interested to work in a technical environment or similar job experiences
  • Experience with MS office & ERP system is a big plus
  • Can easily communicate in Dutch, English and French
