Technical Support Engineer

Main tasks are:
• Remote Service for customers and Field Service Engineers
• General technical support with main focus to our Spanish customers
• Documentation of all remote jobs also for subsequent billing
• Ownership for support cases and organize or monitor the resolution
• Support in technical issue concerning the dispatching for the FOOD-Service-Team
• Clarification of offers (technical part), needed spare parts and needed time on site
• Cooperation and escalation to the Product Experts and R&D

Additional tasks:
• Execution of field days to improve and keep the knowledge level
• Field days for urgent interventions may be required • After one year of learning different machines you will be integrated in our on-call service group

Role and Responsibilities:

Complete and satisfying support of customers and the field service team
Complete and correct technical information for the Back-Office team

Candidate profile:
Excellent technical problem-solving, troubleshooting and follow-up skills 
Strong communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information and issues in a user-friendly manner 
Ability to relate to customers, their views and issues, locally and in other countries and cultures
Fluent in Spanish and English, French is a plus

Education:
University or College degree in mechanical or electrical engineering Technician or engineer preferred

Other skills/abilities:
3-5 years “hands-on” experience with servicing industrial machines
Being self-motivated and having the proven capacity to fully complete tasks 
(Advanced) IT and network skills
Full clean driving license essential 
Must be a team player
Other languages beneficial
