The company is now looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager Waste/Metal Recycling. TOMRA Sorting follows ambitious plans to expand the excellent market position and further shape the organization in the next years. To participate in reaching this goal the main role of the Area Sales Manager will be to organize and efficiently manage the sales activities in the area of Czechia, Slovakia and occasionally Poland. This is a great opportunity for someone who lives in Czechia.

Your tasks would be…

  • Be responsible for implementing a systematic Sales Management approach
  • You plan and execute sales activities in Czechia, Slovakia and occasionally Poland
  • Responsible for the area of Metals/Waste Recycling and sorting 
  • Ensure the effective internal organization of processes and structures and be responsible for the area sales and marketing budget 
  • Develop and work together with the Global Sales Team 
  • Execute the company strategy and support the Business Development Manager in evaluating new business fields if it necessary 
  • Participate in exhibitions and conferences locally, on international events and be an active part of the (global) Recycling Team 
  • Main stakeholders area: sales team Europe of 20 people, Global Service, Test Center, Project Management, Business Development, local Management in USA, Europe, rest of the world

You might match this profile if you…

  • Have a commercial, technical, economical degree or a technical apprenticeshi
  • Bring a minimum of 3 - 5 years of work experience in the metal/waste recycling or metal/waste processing industry 
  • Possess a strong command of the Czech and Slovak language
  • Are experienced in selling large capital equipment or selling long project sales cycle or are experienced with sales of technical equipment in the recycling industry, also in managing Key Account Customers
  • Have strong commercial skills, and act customer-minded 
  • Have a proven track record of successful contract negotiation, excellent listening and communication skills and follow an analytical approach
