TOMRA Sorting Solutions is looking for an IOT Developer (m/f) for its facilities in Mülheim-Kärlich, Germany.

Position Overview:

  • Experienced web backend developer for IOT system
  • System design and integration
  • Can take responsibility for projects Experience in Java / Javascript / Cloud computing
  • Work in a dynamic and international project team
  • Strong cooperation between the business streams and locations
  • Some travelling will be required

 

Optional

  • Experience with mobile development (mobile phone, tablet, Android, iOS, etc)
  • IT Security

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Software application development for IOT.
  • Software test and field validation
  • Produce technical documentation
  • Work in close cooperation with the other software development teams 
  • Cross link to other departments like IT, service 
  • Cross link to external companies like cloud solution providers, consultants
  • Give support to colleagues from development and service department
  • Trainings and presentations
  • Contribute ideas about improvement possibilities (quality/ efficiency)

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent programming skills in Java / Javascript
  • Experience with cloud solution providers
  • Experience with IT Infrastructure (Firewalls, Certificates)
  • Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written

 

Education:

  • Masters degree in computer science or related field
