Solution Specialist for People Management System

TOMRA has started to digitalize many functions including People Management. The implementation of the Human Resources Management System is currently ongoing. We are now looking for a Solution Specialist to participate in the implementation project and provide continuing support to the company’s People & Organisation team’s use of the system. This position is a replacement of our existing Solution Specialist who will retire during Q1 2020. As our new Solution Specialist, you will work very closely with our Senior Solution Specialist located in Norway and TOMRA’s global People & Organisation managers and other specialist roles. You will have a central role in the development of new functionalities, assist users with best-practice guidelines, develop system efficiencies, as well as the day to day maintenance of the system. The People Management system (Sage People) is built upon the Salesforce platform. This is a Group role and you will report to our VP IT in Norway. You will be a part of the digital change, making an impact and working in an international environment.

TOMRA Solution specialist

Role and responsibilities:

  • Configuring and implementing solutions to address the needs of the People organization (functions, reporting, etc.). Participate in setting up and managing projects that will develop and improve the system
  • Support internal stakeholders and be the interface to the system supplier Sage People
  • Help man the system support desk, resolve “day-to-day” issues
  • Assist in providing training or cater for training as needed
  • Update and maintain an operational system guide

Candidate profile:

  • Experience with Salesforce or other cloud-based systems and database systems (CRM/ERP/HCM/HRIS, etc.) and preferably at the level of System Administrator
  • Experience from similar roles in a global organization considered and experience in an HR environment is desirable
  • Have knowledge about various interfaces, integrations to the system from surrounding systems like Active Directory and Litmos (cloud based LMS)
  • Extensive technical understanding 
  • Basic programming skills
  • Pedagogical approach and have the capability to translate «IT» to non-IT people as well as understand HR-processes within a technical environment 
  • Experienced working with internal stakeholders across cultural regions. Manage external providers/consultants
  • Teamplayer and collaborative
  • Confident, solution- and result oriented, and independent worker
  • Fluent in English & German (written and oral)
  • International role. Service provider for colleagues around the world, requires flexible working hours.
  • Flexible to travel ca. 20%
  • BSc/MSc in computer science, electrical engineering, IT, or equivalent education or 5 years relevant work experience in this field
