Senior Developers (Backend/Frontend/Big Data)

TOMRA has brought the Internet of Things and big data to reverse vending machines for recycling. We are offering a rare opportunity for 2-4 excellent developers to combine cutting-edge engineering with doing good in the circular economy, as part of the TOMRA team.

Asker, Norway 19.06.2017

TOMRA’s 75,000 reverse vending machines in more than 60 markets collect over 35 billion empty bottles and cans every year. As that’s only 2-4% of the beverage containers consumed worldwide, TOMRA has a tremendous opportunity to help the planet keep even more bottles and cans out of our oceans, landfills and streets. TOMRA offers clean and effective recycling solutions that truly close the recycling loop, through new collection and recycling infrastructures in key markets around the world.

One pioneering way TOMRA achieves this is through digital products for recycling. TOMRA Collection Solutions Digital, established in 2014 as an intrapreneurial unit, is a fast-moving team delivering our new and future-oriented cloud-based solutions. Demand for digital solutions is growing rapidly and we need to expand our core team of developers, to create digital products that motivate and reward all people involved in the chain of recycling.

We are based in Asker, Norway and serve global customers with products that span from machine control and analytics, to in-store marketing, consumer engagement and loyalty programs.
