We are seeking students who have up to two years left before completing their MSc degree, and who are interested in working within one of the following areas:
- Software: Opportunity to be involved in software development, design of solutions and implementation of Linux-based platforms, proprietary hardware platforms involving our own OS, and/or proprietary web-based platforms. Experience with one or more relevant programming languages (C, C++, Java) is a prerequisite, preferably also knowledge of other relevant frameworks (e.g. Qt).
- Product Development: Design and construction of one or more functional mechanisms, create production structures and document both self-designed and existing standard parts. Knowledge in how to use NX and preferably Teamcenter is a prerequisite.
- Optics and Electronics: Design of optics, electronics, FPGA and cable systems for reverse vending machines.
Successful applicants will be working on aspects within current development projects and consequently will be part of helping to shape our future recycling systems. TOMRA has at any one time approximately 10 parallel development projects going. All our projects are interdisciplinary and typically there are 5-10 developers in each project.
If this opportunity sounds exciting, we ask that you send an application as soon as possible to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications will be considered on an ongoing basis.
