1. What kind of positions does TOMRA offer?
Our main fields are various engineer positions, sales and marketing, IT, and some administration.
2. Where are your positions based?
We have activities in more than 80 markets across the world, and our main locations are Koblenz and Langenfeld in Germany, Asker in Norway, Shelton in CT, USA, Leuven in Belgium, and Dublin in Ireland.
3. How do I search and apply for a position at TOMRA?
Our vacancies will be posted on tomra.com/careers, in local/national media and on local/national job sites.
4. How long after submitting my resume can I expect to hear from TOMRA?
We aim to reply to candidates as soon as possible after the application deadline. In case of many applicants for a position, it might take a few weeks to get back to you. We will always reply whether a candidate is successful or not.
5. Do you accept open applications?
Yes, we do. However, we do advice candidates with a relevant educational background and experience to apply for current vacancies whenever possible.
6.Who can I contact to get more information about a specific job posting?
For a specific job posting, there will always be a contact person in the job advertisement.
7. Will I be at a disadvantage if I apply for more than one position at a time?
No, our company is continuously evolving and so are our people. We are looking for people that are flexible and enthusiastic to grow in several functions.
8. How will a typical hiring process be at TOMRA?
With regards to response time, number of interviews and skills testing hiring processes can vary from country to country and from position to position. In general we aim to reply to candidates as soon as possible after the application deadline.
9.What kind of testing do you apply in your hiring processes?
Testing differs from country to country. Some units run external processes with various tests, larger units run the processes internally.

1. What kind of benefits do you offer?
TOMRA offers employees a compensation package that is competitive and in accordance with good industry standards locally. Where appropriate, this should include an incentive element, and the base pay should reflect individual performance.

2. Do you offer employee insurance schemes?
Yes, we do. These are based on national rules and regulations and hence vary between countries. New employees are advised to check with their local HR responsible for specific insurance schemes.
3.Is it possible to work from home?
Yes, it is possible to work from home within a lot of areas. TOMRA actively supports the maintenance of an appropriate balance between work and life outside of work.
We acknowledge that imbalance can create stress, lack of focus, de-motivation, reduced effectiveness and poor performance. Alternative work schedules may be applied at management discretion where practical. However, some types of work require the employee to be present in the office to have access to necessary equipment. This would typically be the case for researchers and scientists.

5. What kind of development programs do you offer?
We encourage our people to continue learning and challenging themselves throughout their careers. Whether learning happens through attending seminar, conferences, virtual learning, coaching, mentoring, or other relevant programs, we support employees who challenge themselves into becoming better at what they do, for the benefit of our customers, of TOMRA and of themselves.
We also have a Group Talent Program aimed at high potential individuals who are on the path to be senior level managers within 2 -4 years. Candidates are scrutinized and selected by local management in collaboration with HR. The Group Talent Program is a two year training program designed to develop the next generation of senior managers.
