Product Expert Digital

Apeldoorn, Netherlands
Full Time Position
Pleased to meet you, we are TOMRA. We produce, sell, install and maintain the vending machines you use to return your deposit bottles. Our mission is to innovate the way we collect, use and reuse our raw materials. This result is simple – we work with our customers to build a sustainable society together. Would you like to join our team?

More and more countries are taking steps to take better care of the environment and to work towards a cleaner world. One of these steps can be the introduction of a deposit system for consumables. We want to make sure we are “ready to go” when new countries introduce such a system. This is why we have set up a so-called Operational Hub to support future growth on an operational level throughout Europe. We are looking for a Product Expert Digital for the expansion of our Hub Digital.

As a Product Expert Digital, you are involved in promoting and rolling out our digital software portfolio, TOMRA Connect. TOMRA Connect brings the “Internet of Things” to recycling. By linking packaging machines to online software, completely new management and statistics functionality is created. But the software is not designed to just offer added value behind the scenes. Retailers can surprise consumers with new interactive possibilities via the vending machine screen.

As a Product Expert Digital, it is your responsibility to know all the “ins & outs” of our software and solutions. You will analyse, report and ensure improvements are implemented. In addition, managing training materials and transferring knowledge through one-on-one training courses is also a part of your job. This can be for our own technicians as well as our customers.

Are you able to guide customer processes from assignment to implementation? Do you see yourself as the IT source of information for our customers and employees within our organisation, and can you make the transition from customer needs to product? Then respond to this vacancy and maybe we will get to know you soon.

  • You work well in a team, but can also work independently.
  • You are curious about our products and how they meet customer needs.
  • You have a lot of IT knowledge and can explain complex matters easily.
  • You have experience programming back–end systems.
  • You have successfully completed HBO/Bachelors education in an IT or System Management discipline.
  • You speak and write Dutch and English well.
  • You are available full-time (38 hours per week).

What we offer

  • An informal organisation in which you can be yourself.
  • An enthusiastic group of colleagues where everyone is equal.
  • We encourage your development and provide education opportunities.
  • Catered lunch every day and leisure bar in the building.
  • Staff outings and company trips.
  • A generous salary in line with the current market as well as supplementary benefits.
