Sourcing Manager

Full Time Position
TOMRA is growing rapidly and to meet demand we need to strengthen our sourcing function within projects and processes. The Sourcing Manager will manage sourcing and procurement projects, optimize procurement processes, and be responsible for price negotiations, as well as establishing company-strategic delivery contracts with suppliers and manufacturing partners. Candidates should have strong leadership and project management skills, as well as the ability to provide direct, transparent, and consistent information to relevant stakeholders in the value chain.
Role and responsibilities:
  • Manage sourcing and procurement projects
  • Optimize procurement processes
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments
  • Secure quality standards and ESG requirements
  • Take ownership of price negotiations and establishing contracts with suppliers
  • Implement supplier performance tools
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or university degree in logistics, supply chain or similar
  • Minimum 5 years global contract and supplier management experience
  • Good knowledge within the field of product development
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Experience with tools to qualify, monitor and follow up suppliers
  • Solid knowledge of ERP and PLM applications
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English (written and oral)
