Sorting technology specialist Tomra (Asker, Norway; www.tomra.com) said it plans to invest EUR 50 mn to EUR 60 mn in the construction of a sorting plant for post-consumer plastic waste. The plant, with a planned annual capacity of 80,000 t/y, is to be built in an existing factory in Germany. Commissioning is planned for 2025 at the latest.
