What differentiates the Helius™ Tobacco 2400 from the Helius™ Tobacco is the fact that the Helius™ Tobacco 2400 is almost a true black-box sorter arrangement as it comes with all necessary peripheral items (infeed, outfeed and reject arrangement including all required maintenance and safety features). As the system only has one in- and outfeed, the end-users scope towards a sorter integration in an existing production line is limited to the absolute minimum.

The arrangement typically comes with a plug-and-play baseplate on which the sorters will be mounted.

The pre-drilled holes in the baseplate allow an easy, fast and accurate installation while reducing the risk of beetle infestation. Changes in good product characteristics are stored in both sorters at the same time.

SORTING TOBACCO AT HIGHER CAPACITIES

The Helius™ 2400 tobacco sorter is virtually maintenance free as there are no moving and limited wear parts. Its open design allows the processor to constantly observe the product during the sorting process.

Product spreading equipment (using a proportional overhead feeder), the sorter, accept/reject vibratory conveyors and the dual loop reject recycling are part of the arrangement. In- and outfeed are customizable to fit the line design. In addition, the sorter comes with access platforms for easy maintenance and to ensure safety.

The equipment structure is designed to fit standard high cube shipping containers and can be installed as interlocking blocks, reducing integration time.
