FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Odenberg & BEST sorting will not dissappear but continue to live further on the umbrella of the TOMRA brand

WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE BRAND NAMES FROM BEST Sorting and ODENBERG TO TOMRA?

BEST Sorting and ODENBERG have been part of the TOMRA family for over five years and, with the consolidation of other sorting companies, we started a process of transitioning the former brands into one unified brand. TOMRA Sorting is now the largest sensor-based sorting company worldwide.

WHAT BENEFITS DO I GET FROM THIS?

Through TOMRA Sorting’s established expertise across multiple industries, we can leverage combined know-how to bring our customers, like you, innovative sorting and peeling solutions. With over 13,500 sorting machines in over 85 countries, our knowledge allows us to deliver high-performance sorting and peeling solutions for our customers.

The combined companies of TOMRA Sorting have enhanced financial strength ensuring we are a long-term partner for the future. Additionally, increased investments in R&D keep us ahead with technological innovations, giving our customers a competitive advantage of getting the most out of their investment.

WHAT WILL THE MACHINES LOOK LIKE?

The family of food sorting machines you know such as Genius, Blizzard, Nimbus, Halo and FPS will look as they do now. The only thing that will change is the logo on the machine: TOMRA.

IS THERE ANY TECHNICAL DIFFERENCE TO THE BEST Sorting AND ODENBERG MACHINES?

No. The change is only in brand so that you can expect the same excellent quality you’ve come to associate with the BEST Sorting and ODENBERG brands. We, of course, continue to invest in the existing platforms to make sure they can benefit from our broad access to technology and remain the standard in the industry.

WHAT WILL CHANGE FOR ME?

Nothing. You may continue to expect the same point-of-contact, service and support, spare parts, et cetera. The only change can be found in the branding of the sorting and peeling machine names.
