Service Backoffice

TOMRA Sorting Solutions is a world leader in optical and electronic sorting equipment. As dynamic company with an outstanding product line and an excellent level of customer satisfaction, the company now is looking for a Service backoffice.

Parma, Italy 27.05.2019

Position Overview:

Main tasks are:

  • responsible for creating all quotations for Service in business stream Recycling
  • responsible for creating all customer orders from the Service product range (spares, repairs, service contracts and upgrades) in cooperation with central warehouse
  • responsible for Health and Safety document exchange
  • responsible for KPI benchmarking data collection
  • responsible for invoicing spare parts and interventions
  • Backup function for Service Backoffice of Food business stream

Role and Responsibilities:

Drive for Achievement

  • Close cooperation within sales and other departments
  • handling all customer communication for above mentioned 
  • Trace all created offers in ERP System
  • contact with all TOMRA local entities (parts, offers etc.)
  • Customer satisfaction by proper response and prompt deliveries
  • Management and update of all customer data in ERP System

Candidate profile:

  • Being precise, focused and punctual
  • Being self-motivated and having the proven capacity to fully complete tasks
  • Ability to manage administration, control systems and financial resources. 
  • Excellent problem solving and follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication skills, very good in spoken and written English and maybe other languages
  • Business experience in a support function


  • commercial education ( for example, forwarding merchant) or at least two years of experience preferably in similar capacity

  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Teamwork
