PVC
Certain plastics such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other high chlorine content materials are unsuitable for RDF production and must be removed from the material stream. As the demand for secondary raw materials continues to rise, the recovery of recyclable plastics (PET, HDPE, LPDE) presents opportunities for plant operators to create new revenue streams. Automated sensor-based sorting systems effectively remove PVC and materials that disturb industrial thermal processing.
