Reuse made convenient, efficient and traceable

TOMRA Reuse creates systems for cities, venues and events to implement a shift to reusable takeaway packaging - reducing waste and optimizing resources.

Our city solution

The TOMRA Rotake City solution is a system designed for densely populated urban environments. As an open managed system (OMS), it can handle cups and packaging from different suppliers. Each piece of packaging is uniquely identified using serialized QR codes, and users can "tap n' go" to easily get their refund. Ongoing partnerships with Aarhus and Lisbon.

Our event/venue solution

The TOMRA Rotake Event solution is tailored for high-traffic venues and events like music festivals, sports stadiums, fairs and markets. It builds on the same principles as the City solution, but uses RFID chips to enable immediate returns and a "throw'n'go" user experience that allows fast returns both during and after the event when attendees are leaving.
