FAIRGROUND Festival turned up the volume on innovation during the last weekend in November, rolling out TOMRA’s Event Solution as the festival’s reusable cup system. Around 20,000 fans got to experience a fast, digital and festival-friendly “Throw’n’Go” setup when purchasing drinks and returning cups.

TOMRA Reuse has launched its event solution for reusable cups at Intility Arena in Oslo — marking the first time TOMRA’s reuse technology is live at a major sports arena.

The new system includes a set of dedicated reusable CopoMais Lisboa cups – available in four sizes, automated return machines – where consumers can obtain a refund for the deposit paid on the cups, and a comprehensive cleaning and logistics operation to ensure cups can be used over and over again.
