TOMRA at EuroShop reveals digital solutions and smarter reverse vending technologies
TOMRA Collection Solutions and its smarter new reverse vending offerings will be on show at EuroShop, the world’s largest retail trade fair, in Dusseldorf on 5-9 March.
TOMRA will showcase new products that make the TOMRA system – which collects bottles and cans for reuse and recycling – a triple-threat package of innovative machines, digital experiences and service.
Smarter reverse vending machines (RVMs) will be in the spotlight, as TOMRA expands its industry-first Flow TechnologyTM to more RVMs in its range. TOMRA will debut the industrial Bulk Collection offering for recycling centers – a new market segment for TOMRA. The company will give a sneak peek at a new concept machine: TOMRA’s most compact and urban RVM to date. Also new is T-70, a standalone RVM unit with minimal footprint for smaller stores.
Recycling and service go digital
Just in time for EuroShop, TOMRA has officially launched TOMRA Connect, a comprehensive portfolio of digital products to extend and complement RVM usage and ownership. TOMRA Connect gives retailers new control, analytics and consumer engagement opportunities, for maximum uptime and enhanced customer service. This includes the brand new Receipt Control refund validation, Notify + Assist in-store RVM notifications and TOMRA ReAct consumer rewards program.
TOMRA’s worldwide network of service offerings has also made the digital leap, with more RVM care moving online – so that customers experience service as hassle-free, and even invisible. At EuroShop, TOMRA Service will demonstrate how its online tools ensure many maintenance needs can be identified and resolved proactively and remotely, even outside store opening hours, for fewer field calls and the greatest machine uptime.
2017 marks TOMRA’s 45th anniversary, and the company will talk at EuroShop about its history and how it will shape the future of reverse vending. TOMRA strives to lead the resource revolution and will also be discussing reverse vending’s unique contribution to reuse and recycling, toward a circular economy and “the Cleanest Loop”.
