The TOMRA 4A sorts up to 100 tons of potatoes an hour. Before your potatoes go into storage, it takes out dirt, stones and rot. Out-of-spec potatoes get their own stream, so you can still sell them. And when potatoes come out of storage, the same machine sorts quality defects too.

Going into storage:

Quality sorting too. The same machine also takes out quality defects, like green and rotten potatoes, at the lower capacity that job needs.

Two dedicated sets of ejection fingers do two different jobs. One takes out dirt, stones and foreign material. The other takes out out-of-spec potatoes and keeps them clean and apart. All at full capacity.
Your contracts are based on volume, so every percent counts. With 3-way sorting, out of-spec potatoes don't end up on the reject pile with the stones. You can still sell them, for processing, cattle feed or biogas
