What is Dynamic LIBS?

Dynamic LIBS is a high-speed, high adjustable laser system developed by TOMRA to enable the accurate sorting of performance-critical aluminum alloys. Besides precise object marking and ideal shooting position detection, it offers single-point or multi-point scanning modes, enabling the system to adapt to different scrap conditions. 

Thanks to its advanced superior and unique single points scanning modes, Dynamic LIBS can accurately identify specific grades – including those in the 5xxx and 6xxx series. This advanced technology supports closed-loop recycling and preserves the value of material that would otherwise be lost through downgrading.
