TOMRA REUSE | REUSABLE CUP SYSTEM

Welcome to the reuse revolution at Intility Arena!

How it works:

1. Buy a beverage → borrow a reusable cup

When you buy a drink, it’s served in a reusable cup linked to your payment card. You pay a 10 NOK deposit on the cup which you get back when you return your cup at one of the nearby automated machines.

2. Drink and enjoy

Enjoy your beverage knowing that you are contributing to a more sustainable way of consumption. 

3. Return the cup → Get money straight to your account

When you're done with the cup just go to one of the nearby return machines, throw it in and go! The deposit on the cup will be automatically refunded directly to the account linked to the bank card used to purchase the beverage. You can also return the cups in stacks - and the deposit on each cup will be refunded to the respective bank cards used to purchase the drinks.

All cups are professionally washed before being put back into circulation, to be used over and over – reducing waste and saving CO₂ emissions.

Frequently asked questions

If you lose or discard your cup you will not be able to redeem your deposit. But should we find your cup afterwards we will donate the deposit to a worthy cause. 
No. It is not allowed according to Norwegian food safety regulations to refill used cups, so please return them after use. You can save and stack together several cups before you return them, should you prefer to do that. 
No. When you buy a drink the reusable cup it is served in is automatically registered to the payment card you used to buy the drink. 
Return it to a collection point anyway. You will receive your deposit back, and we'll make sure the cup gets recycled.
Polypropylene (PP) – a robust material that can be used and washed many times before being recycled at the end of its lifetime. BPA free and safe for food contact.

It can take up to three banking days after returning the cup, depending on your bank.

Many times! It easily withstands over 100 washes and lasts as long as it doesn’t break. Its CO₂ footprint is offset after just 6 uses.
