TOMRA receives large reverse vending machine order from leading polish retailer Dino Polska

TOMRA has today announced an order for 3,000 reverse vending machines (RVMs) to be supplied to Dino Polska, one of Poland’s largest retail chains. The RVMs will be provided on a sales and service basis, with installation set to begin in the coming weeks and continue through the first half of 2026. Dino Polska has selected the TOMRA S2 Rugged Plus for its stores nationwide. This is the newest model in TOMRA’s portfolio, specifically designed for the Polish market and built for outdoor installation.

Poland launched its deposit return system (DRS) on 1 October 2025, allowing consumers to redeem deposits when returning single-use plastic bottles (up to 3 liters), metal cans (up to 1 liter), and, from 1 January 2026, reusable glass bottles (up to 1.5 liters).

"We are pleased to partner with Dino Polska and look forward to seeing the TOMRA S2 Rugged Plus being deployed across Poland," said Marius Fraurud, Head of TOMRA Collection. "As Poland rolls out their deposit return system, we are committed to supporting customers in providing technology that helps them operate more efficiently and makes recycling a smooth and convenient experience for their customers."

Across Poland, retailers are preparing their stores to provide customers with easy and convenient options to return drink containers. TOMRA Collection Poland is supporting retailers in identifying the most suitable solutions—from standalone RVMs for lower volumes to high-capacity systems.
