IFS Service Process Developer

TOMRA uses the IFS platform for its ERP system. Typically users know their way around the system for the part they are supposed to use daily but not more. The role of this position is to translate business process needs into supporting IFS functionalities, train users, create alignment, find solutions for exceptions, and implement improvements.

Position overview

  • Be a driving force in implementing and improving the IFS system
  • Serve as key user for local system hub and provide first line issue support
  • Assist rollout of IFS into new countries
  • Lead new implementation of IFS modules or related tools e.g. planning tool

 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the IFS system contributes to these
  • Serve as Chairman of the IFS improvement team for Service
  • Implementation of a functional key user network
  • Manage the “local” IFS improvement process as Project manager
  • First line support in case of issues
  • Key user for development, testing, training of new system functionalities
  • Training of (key) users (new users and updates for experienced users)

 

Candidate profile

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team
  • Excellent organizational attitude, knowledge in process management and follow-up skills
  • Ability to relate to users in other countries and cultures
  • Strong in correct & accurate work
  • Creative, yet structured in solving problems

 

Education and other skills

  • Bachelor in process management or equal by experience in this area
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Teamwork and leadership
  • Computer skills are crucial - inventory management, excel, etc.
  • Fluent English oral & written
