Logistics Manager Recycling (m/w/x)

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, technically savvy Logistics Manager (m/w/x) with advanced knowledge to create and implement a global concept to improve internal and external logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for logistics (incl. spare parts) and warehouse
  • Create and implement a global concept to improve internal and external logistics processes
  • Increase the level of automation
  • Generate, document and implement savings; plan, monitor and report on relevant KPI to contribute to the success of the Recycling business and make results transparent
  • Drive achievement of improvements through cross-functional alignment with internal stakeholders and Logistics providers
  • Optimize the inventory levels to the needs of the Recycling business stream
  • Responsible for annual stock takes
  • Selection and negotiation of Logistics providers and forwarders 
  • Develop, review, implement processes/policies/standardizations that drive down overall costs, increase efficiency
  • Transformation of the TOMRA Recycling operations strategy into the Logistics area
  • Establishing, measuring and reporting of Logistics KPIs
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
  • Strives continues improvements of team performance

Candidate profile :

  • 8 - 10 years previous Supply Chain Management experience in a global manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Dynamic with strong leadership skills
  • Result oriented and proactive
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in commercial or technical area with focus on Supply Chain / Logistics Management
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Experienced with international customs regulations
  • Strong verbal and written English skills (C1)
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Sig sigma green belt 
  • Ability to communicate and create collaboration across departments and subsidiaries in different countries
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
