Software Developer UI UX (m/w/x)

The focus of this position as Software Developer UI / UX is the development, optimization, maintenance and documentation of user interfaces for TOMRA’s sensor based sorting and analysis systems. You will work in a dynamic team where a strong cooperation with other working groups is required. Some travelling will be required.

Position Overview
The focus of this position as Software Developer UI / UX is the development, optimization, maintenance and documentation of user interfaces for TOMRA’s sensor based sorting and analysis systems. You will work in a dynamic team where a strong cooperation with other working groups is required. Some travelling will be required.

Tasks
Development and test of user interfaces for new sensor based sorting machines for recycling
Implementation of the UI backend (business logic layer) and interface between backend and frontend
Extend, optimize and verify existing software
Work on issues reported by Service or Production department
Give support to colleagues from service and production department
Contribute ideas about improvement possibilities (quality/ efficiency)
Produce technical documentation

Candidate Profile
Requires Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or an apprenticeship IT specialist software development finished with very good grades
Experience in designing user interfaces using Angular / HTML / CSS or using C# with WPF
Ability to design user interfaces which are aesthetically pleasant and allow an efficient and ergonomic workflow
Good programming skills, preferably in C++ and C#
Good English skills spoken and written
At least basic knowledge of German
